Sunrise Senior Living has entered into a joint venture in which the California Public Employee's Retirement System, (CalPERS), acquired a significant interest in several communities. Our management agreement with CalPERS includes stringent requirements with respect to purchasing by which we must certify each vendor as a Responsible Contractor.

Responsible Contractor policies and forms will be made available to apply for Responsible Contractor certification at the time bids are released (see Contracting Calendar for upcoming bids).
